Others come for Deep-tissue Myofascial Release, Active Isolated Stretching or a relaxing Hot Stone Massage. A graduate of Sante Fe School of Massage, Kristy also counts among her expert techniques Chinese Cupping Therapy to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions, and lift connective tissue to drain excess fluids and toxins in the body by opening lymphatic pathways. Kristy's Cupping Massage is an ideal treatment for soft tissue injuries and for body toning. When not working, Kristy spends her free time enjoying all the magnificence of The Wood River Valley--skiing, trail-running, working out, swimming, hiking, camping, drinking good wine and enjoying the love of her husband, Brad, and their two dogs.

Barbara Julian

Barbara’s inspiration for her massage career began when, as a paralegal, she discovered her “compassion button” with personal injury clients. Having a strong desire to help people in pain, she moved to the Monterey Bay area of California and completed the massage therapist course at the Monterey Institute of Touch in 1995. She has worked in the tourist industry there, and since 1997, here in Sun Valley, combining a blend of Esalen style strokes with deep effective trigger point work. Her continuing education has focused on neuromuscular therapy, range of motion stretching, Lomi Lomi techniques and recently Erik Dalton’s myoskeletal techniques.
Barb provides a safe comfortable rapport with a wide variety of clients such as serious athletes, moms, “computer people” as well as those with challenges such as migraines, joint dysfunction, polio, and Parkinson’s disease. She brings to the table a depth of understanding from her own life experience with past health challenges as well. No session is the same with Barb as she is curious and intuitive with each person.
Barb has been a Wood River Valley resident since 1986 and is a life-long learner, small-town gal who enjoys camping, hiking, travelling and genealogy.
