Advanced Flow – This class emphasizes movement guided by breath, postures developed through alignment, and concentration cultivated through awareness. Participation in this class requires you have at least a year of solid yoga practice.
All Levels Yoga– Focus on the integration of classical Yoga philosophy and practices with contemporary alignment principles. This class is designed to purify and strengthen body, breath and mind.
Beginner / Intermediate Yoga- A rejuvenating practice that utilizes proper alignment, breath and awareness as a vehicle for achieving optimal wellness. Students will gain a solid foundation of the fundamental aspects of yoga.
Chi Gong – Calm the mind while enhancing energy, strength and balance. Class incorporates both movement and meditation.
Funky Flow with Yvette – Add a little rhythm and fun to your practice. Yvette will lead us through a vigorous practice with core strength while keeping it light hearted and funky.
Gentle Yoga / Sport Stretch– Great for the tight athlete. Emphasis is on opening the back, hips and shoulders, and lengthening the hamstrings and quadriceps. No standing poses.
Gentle Yoga for Athletes- Level l & ll class introducing basic yoga postures through gentle movements. This class is excellent for beginners, those with injuries, and people seeking a soft approach to opening the body through yoga-based stretches. There is a natural transition at 7:30 am for those who like to come in for the last half hour.
Guided Meditation / All levels Yoga – A nurturing practice that cultivates deep relaxation and healing through the fusion of mind, body and breath. The practice begins with basic postures and culminates with a guided meditation designed tap into the body, heart and mind’s innate ability to release, restore and renew.
Heated Detox Flow – Make Every Monday a Detox Day!! Twist, squeeze, breathe, and sweat the toxins out of your body and mind so that your spirit can shine brightly! The practice includes postures and cleansing kriyas designed to assist in the elimination of impurities.
Hot Power Hour – Strength, balance, core, focus and sweat. Experience an energy boost and challenge in this 60 minute practice.
The Hot 26 – The original hot yoga sequence of 26 postures originating from Calcutta. This series uses every part of the body, offering everything it needs to maintain optimum health and maximum function.
Intermediate/AdvancedYoga– A well rounded practice focusing on breath, alignment, and awareness as we move into more advanced postures including inversions, back bends, and arm balances. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the more subtle aspects of yoga. This class is not appropriate for beginners.
Restorative Yoga – All levels.Relax and renew with calming movements, supported postures and sound therapy nurturing mind, body, and spirit.
Weekend Warrior – Get ready for the Mountain, a race or whatever your weekend adventure may be. This class is purposefully placed on Friday so you can prep your mind and body for the activity ahead. Reset your posture, open the hips, shoulders and hams. Many enthusiasts in this town know they are supposed to taper, yet feel the urge to do something prior to their weekend events. This class allows us to not only be active, but to be pro-active.
Youth Yoga – This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids sing, draw and play yoga in this energy releasing class. Yoga with Healing Sound – a class for all levels which emphasizes breathing more fully and integrating various active/passive postures with the breath. The vocal sound element helps one to de-stress, create mindfulness and resonate with the heart. Amy’s teaching style is a therapeutic fusion of yoga and martial arts and her voice will move you.
Yin Yoga –Gentle poses are held for 2-4 minutes to allow for stretching of the connective tissue, circulation of Chi, and deep relaxation for the whole body. This class is appropriate for all levels.
ZenRoller- Learn self-myofascial release techniques. Use your own body weight to massage, improve flexibility, and reduce likelihood of injuries.
