Diane is a former marketing professor and university historian. She moonlighted as an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor for 30 years, trained collegiate basketball and volleyball teams, and participated in two of the first western aerobic competitions. In 1998, Diane became a Certified A.C.E. Personal Trainer. She later received a certification through the American Institute of Fitness Educators specializing in older adult training. Diane’s continuing education emphasizes working with individuals with chronic disease and disabilities. She is a member of the International Council on Active Aging.
