Yoga

Breathwork & Yoga Nidra: Pathways to Inner Stillness

Breathwork offers practical tools to regulate the nervous system in the moment, while Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that supports deep rest, relaxation, recovery, and healing. In this series, you will learn specific breathing patterns that influence the nervous system and energy, helping you meet the needs of the moment, harnessing energy and focus when needed, finding balance under stress, and settling into relaxation when it is time to rest or sleep. Each class includes a complete Breathwork and Yoga Nidra practice while exploring a specific element of Yoga Nidra. Beginning with Sankalpa, or heartfelt intention, we will move through the five koshas, the interrelated dimensions of body, breath and energy, mind and emotion, inner wisdom, and inherent well-being. Through these practices, we deepen awareness of our internal experience, expand our capacity to be with sensation and emotion, and begin to recognize and reshape habitual patterns of feeling, thinking, perceiving, and responding. Over the course of the series, the practice becomes a pathway toward greater alignment between how we live and what we most deeply value, while connecting us with an underlying sense of equanimity, peace, and well-being that remains available even as the circumstances of our lives continue to change.

Cycling

Amanda Porino

Some of Amanda’s earliest memories were of early mornings, adjusting the rabbit ears with her dad and watching the Tour de France. Her love of cycling began then, although she never raced a bike until her 30’s. Once she did, she was hooked.

A relative newcomer to the valley, Amanda immediately fell in love with everything Zenergy had to offer; especially the potential that the spin classes held. A financial advisor by day, she loves numbers and data and understands the importance of training in zones.

When she isn’t spinning, you’ll find her fishing, horseback riding, skiing, and exploring Idaho with her incredible husband and family.

Heidi Watanabe

Heidi moved to the Wood River Valley in 1998, drawn by the natural beauty and the comforting familiarity of mountain life—similar to her childhood in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Growing up in Steamboat, Heidi and her siblings spent countless hours at the Old Town Hot Springs pool, swimming, racing, diving, and reveling in the carefree chaos of youth. A competitive swimmer until age 10, she eventually shifted her athletic focus to alpine ski racing, competing collegiately for the University of Wyoming as part of its NCAA National Championship Team.

Heidi’s love for swimming endured. After settling in the Wood River Valley, she rediscovered the sport by joining the masters swimming program at the Blaine County pool in Hailey. The community, the structure, and the joy of being back in the water quickly took hold. When Zenergy opened its doors, Heidi joined the Zen Masters program, refining her skills and becoming part of a vibrant, supportive swimming community.

Years of training with the Zen Masters eventually led Heidi to step in as a part-time coach, sharing her experience and enthusiasm with others. At the same time, her passion for swimming expanded into the world of open-water adventure. She has completed the legendary Escape from Alcatraz Swim five times and has twice taken on the demanding Waikiki Rough Water Swim

One of Heidi’s most memorable adventures was swimming more than four miles from the Isle D’If near Marseilles, France, alongside her sister and niece. Their route followed the fabled escape path of the Count of Monte Cristo, merging endurance, history, and family into an unforgettable experience.
