Laura Speck
Laura was born and raised in the Wood River Valley and came promptly back home after attending St. Lawrence University in upstate New York for college. After a handful of years working for different environmental organizations in the Valley, ski bumming, and waitressing she went back to school in Missoula and received a master’s degree in environmental studies with a focus in local food systems. That brought her back to the Valley again to work on an organic veggie farm for a number of years. She began working at the Zenergy spa during the winter months while on hiatus from farming and fell in love with the place. You can now find her at the spa desk full time. Laura lives out Warm Springs with her husband, also a Ketchum native, and their dog Freddie Mercury. Laura loves spending time with her family, who also live in town, hitting the ski slopes and cross country trails, biking, hiking, fly fishing, and camping in our amazing valley!
