With a diverse career arc including a role as Communications Manager for ESS (Eye Safety Systems), Ari has developed a unique view of the relationship between brand and culture. He drives all channels of club revenue, develops campaigns intended to improve the club’s reach and image, and leverages the strength of Zenergy as a community built on health.
As the Creative Director, for Zenergy, Joel Is responsible for the creative vision, the look, the feel, and the tone of the Zenergy brand. Working closely with the executive team, in-house marketing and outside creative agencies to ensure company values, brand promise and standards are adhered to. Joel is a meticulous creative professional with a skill set that is uniquely suited to building brands and companies by producing dynamic, marketing and communications collateral. Most recently, serving as the Global Eyewear Category Manager at Smith Optics. Prior to his tenure at Smith Optics, Joel served as the Creative Director for SCOTT SPORTS.

Shauna was raised in the Wood River Valley and participated in many activities such as the Sun Valley Ski Team, track team, figure skating as well as an avid horseback rider. Having moved away from the valley several times, and living in many corners of the world, she finally settled back into her hometown to raise her daughter. She developed an interest in the medical field and chose to go back to school to become a healthcare provider. She earned her certification as a medical assistant with the AAMA in 2007 and has since assisted physicians with patient care in the specialties of orthopedics, women’s health, internal medicine and dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys skiing with her family, travel, snowshoeing and hiking in our beautiful mountains.

Originally from Texas, Beryl attended college in California and Florida prior to settling here in the valley close to 20 years ago. Her extensive background includes customer service, hotel hospitality, retail, restaurant management, and the travel industry. Beryl has been at Zenergy since its inception, and has worn several hats during her tenure here. She loves her role of welcoming new members to the club and assisting current members in any way possible. When not enjoying the outdoors, Beryl volunteers regularly for both the Sun Valley Adaptive Sports program and the local Cancer Society chapter. She enjoys surfing, waterskiing, hiking, skiing, yoga, and squash and anything else that keeps her moving.

After spending one summer in the valley, Kelly made the leap to relocate to Ketchum in 2005. She hasn’t looked back since. Kelly holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and became a Certified Public Accountant in the summer of 2010. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, trail running, golfing, mountain biking, and hiking
As the General Manager for Thunder Spring LLC, Derek’s responsibilities include overseeing all operations and multiple aspects of the Thunder Spring Lifestyle Condominiums and vacation rentals in Sun Valley. Derek offers a wealth of experience in both health club and hotel management. He was the General Manager of Genesis Health Club in Beverly Hills, CA, a boutique club with special emphasis on personal training. He also worked in management at the Peninsula Hotel, a Five Star and Five Diamond hotel also in Beverly Hills.
Derek is an avid sports enthusiast. His personal athletic achievements include an NCAA Football National Championship for the Colorado Buffaloes in 1990; he is also an avid skier, golfer and mountain biker.
Sandi Hagel, L.Ac is a licensed acupuncturist, yoga instructor and nature lover. Sandi has been practicing Chinese Medicine since 2006. She has been trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as the 5-element tradition. Sandi’s yoga practice began almost 15 years ago and she has been teaching since 2003. You will find that Sandi’s style is taught from a vinyasa-perspective where the breath is emphasized as one’s guide through a well-balanced sequence of both yin/yang asana with the addition of fun, contemporary music. Sandi has been living in the Valley for 10 years and is passionate about her work and her outdoor play time. You can find her smiling ear to ear while riding powder on Baldy or biking and hiking the single-track trails woven throughout our mountains.
Yoga as a transformative practice is the heart of Tyia Wilson’s teaching. Her personal transformational journey with fibromyalgia inspired her to teach others how to heal, maintain, and strengthen their bodies through applying yoga with self-acceptance, inner nurturing, and conscious self-care. A 200 hour-RYT certified instructor, Tyia has been influenced through her studies with Manorama D’Avila, Eddie Modestini, Bhavani Maki, Cathie Caccia, Tracee Stanley, Pilar Tumolo, and Mariam Askari. Through the application of sanskrit mantra and toning, Tyia also uses her skills as a professional singer/songwriter and kirtan leader to teach the use of voice and sound to compliment one’s yoga practice. Tyia’s initial attraction to yoga was in developing subtle nuance and grace. As an instructor she focuses upon evolving cues and movements which offer practitioners the opportunity to expand their own understanding of themselves through each pose.
Marney Sullivan is boundlessly energetic and relentlessly authentic. A certified yoga teacher since 2001, writer, and risk taker, she leads insightful and inspirational classes and yoga retreats. She first moved to Ketchum in the early 70s as a young girl and has lived in and out of the Wood River Valley since then. Marney has had the good fortune of studying and gaining certifications in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. She continues to seek out teachers around the world and teaches Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Victoria was first introduced to yoga in 1969, and it has become a constant unifying thread in her life. She began teaching yoga in 1997, and has delighted in sharing the benefits of yoga ever since, believing that yoga is accessible to all. Having had the good fortune to study with a wide range of teachers, she also completed the Intensive Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2004-05 in Piedmont, California, and now holds E-RYT 500 Certification. With a Hatha Blend style, Victoria has taught in southern Idaho and the Bay Area, joining the Wood River yoga community in 2006. Additionally, she has trained future yoga teachers through Shanti Yoga and IdaYoga. Victoria especially relishes teaching pranayama, yoga of the breath.
Due to a keen interest in yoga, Ryan began exploring the sub-continent of India at a very young age. During his travels, Sri Sathya Baba inspired and awakened him to a lifelong commitment to spirituality. At the age of 21, Ryan began sharing his yoga practice as a certified instructor in Santa Barbara, California. With close to three years of intensive study in India, Ryan has grounded the roots of his teachings deep in Indian Philosophy, while also integrating western principles of Anatomy and Physiology. Ryan continues to lead retreats and teach workshops internationally in both yoga and Ayurveda.
Brenda is an ACSM Health Fitness Instructor and Certified Yoga Instructor. She also holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Sports Nutrition. Brenda has been in the fitness industry for 20 years. Throughout her experience, Brenda’s constant passion has been teaching group exercise, personal training, yoga, and helping her clients understand the importance of the nutritional component in their routines.
Katherine Pleasants has been teaching yoga since 1999. She has studied with some of the leading teachers in the industry. She specializes in Essential Yoga Therapy, Iyengar, Viniyoga, Meditation and Advanced Restorative. Katherine has completed the Compassion Cultivating Training Program through CCARE with Stanford University. In addition, she is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner since 2009 and an AromaTouch Therapist.
Shawn is a 20-year yoga practitioner and 25-year Ketchum resident who completed his 500-hour RYT certification with Mark Stephens in January 2015. He’s also had the grace to study with many of the architects of modern asana practice, including Rodney Yee, Richard Freeman, Judith Lassater, Rod Stryker, and more.
In his class, he encourages students to pursue expansion and liberation through the breath, from the inside out … and to approach the practice of asana as a model for learning about the practice of life itself.
Cal brings 19 years of practicing Qi Gong to Zenergy. Qi Gong can be defined as “dedicated energy work.” It is a soft martial art form that focuses upon cultivating energy to create calmness of spirit with the added benefits of improved balance, coordination and strength. Cal offers simple instruction encouraging each person in his or her own journey of energy cultivation. Cal is also a board-certified acupuncturist with 17 years’ experience practicing in the Wood River Valley.
Dana is a Licensed Acupuncturist with a BA in Asian Studies from Colgate University and a Masters in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College. An avid practitioner of yoga since 1995, Dana built upon her personal yoga commitment by training as a teacher in 2011. She has found that Yoga is about making space both physically and emotionally. Dana profoundly appreciates that both acupuncture and yoga open the heart and the energy channels, nourishing all the organs and systems of the body as well as building vigor, clarity and joy. “May the light within me, salute the light within you.”
Through her own dedicated yoga practice, Tara realized the strength, inner peace, and sense of acceptance, yoga can offer. As a teacher of yoga, Tara hopes to offer the opportunity to enhance every individual’s unique path through highlighting yoga philosophies both physically and emotionally. She completed her 200-hour certification with Kaia Yoga in Connecticut and is thrilled to be here in Sun Valley to enhance her own practice and to share yoga with others, reflecting continually on her role as a teacher and student of yoga.
Diane Crist, M.A., is a certified yoga instructor and a Jungian psychotherapist who has been practicing in the Wood River Valley since 1989. She believes in the power of the psyche to influence illness and health. Diane honors the body’s ability to change one’s mindset. She is especially interested in the application of specific asanas (poses) to aid in the recovery of certain psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, or addictions. She weaves psychological and spiritual threads into her yoga classes while staying light and playful.
Ashley recently moved to the Valley last year after spending the past 12 summers performing in the Sun Valley On Ice shows as a professional ice skater. She’s also a certified yoga and aerial yoga instructor with Yoga Body since 2017. If you suffer from Back pain, stiffness in your spine, and weak core muscles, the Yoga Trapeze is for you! Danielle was first certified as a traditional ashtanga yoga instructor at Mount Madonna Center in Santa Cruz, California in 2003. She has also been trained in Iyengar and Anusara traditions in her intervening 10 years of teaching. Her teaching style is a mix of the 3 traditions with emphasis on alignment and flow. Danielle is formerly a US development team skier and college racer for Middlebury and University of Colorado. She is still an avid skier and teaches for the Sun Valley Snow Sports School during the winter months. Her approach to yoga is very much from an athlete’s perspective.
Julie is a long-time resident of our valley having raised 3 children here; now enjoying them as adults. Her love of yoga began in savasana feeling the welcome release & true peace. Since then she has had many teachers, many workshops & many years of practice. Julie embraces all the basic tenets of the ancient yogic philosophy especially self-study and the benefits of focus & strength of asana practice & the subtleties of pranayama, mudra & mantra. She incorporates these aspects of yoga in a compassionate & inclusive manner & is available to substitute teach all yogis & is ready to chant always!
Cathie fell into the healing arts in 1980 during her senior year of college. Since that time, she has intensely studied Shiatsu, Acupuncture (as continuing education for Shiatsu), Massage and Yoga. Cathie has been professionally committed to using her training to support others in experiencing mind, body, spirit wellness. Her primary aim is to assist her students and clients in connecting to their inner guidance and wisdom as a tool for navigating life. Cathie teaches Yin yoga, Hatha yoga workshops and offers massage at Zenergy.
Lauri brings over 25 years of experience to her yoga instruction, emphasizing breath, awareness and movement as important keys to unlocking physical and energetic blocks in the body, heart, and mind. Lauri’s Vinyasa-based classes are physically challenging, mentally calming, and deeply purifying. Her Hatha-based classes focus on three components of joint health: mobility, stability, and flexibility. Lauri is a certified Advanced Teacher of Yoga Therapy as well as a certified Wellness Coach with a focus on healthy habits and lifestyle.
Leo’s personal tennis achievements include: National ranking singles #2 1983 (Lima, Peru); National titles 14 & 16 division; represented Peru in South American championship (Santiago, Chile), Banana Bowl (Sao Paolo Brazil), Orange Bowl (USA), Inka Bowl (Lima, Peru) Juniors 14-16-18; Most Valuable Player at Lees Mcrae College 1987 (Banner Elk, North Carolina); Big Sky conference runner-up at #2 singles (Boise, Idaho). Leo additionally brings 22 years of coaching experience to Zenergy, including: November 2006, ITF Men’s Circuit (Ivan Miranda), September 2003, US OPEN (Ivan Miranda & Alexandre Simoni), Assistant tennis coach at Boise State University, 1990, Tennis pro at Sonesta Beach Hotel, 1992, and Assistant tennis coach at Sheraton Royal Biscayne, 1985
George started his tennis career at the age of 4 on the red clay courts of South America. He climbed to the top of the junior ranks to become a Peruvian and South American Junior Champion. He has been ranked in the top 5 nationally in the United States Professional Tennis Association. George has gone through rigorous training and testing by the USPTA and has earned the high honor of “Elite Coach.” George has over 35 years of teaching and coaching experience. His dedication as “Junior Development Coach” has created an opportunity for many youngsters to achieve a high level of success in their rankings as well as creating incredible life experiences for them.
George’s accomplishments include: Head Coach of Zenergy’s Peak Performance Tennis Program, USPTA Nationally Certified Elite Coach and Certified Athletic Mental Training Coach.
Jamie grew up in the Wood River Valley and took advantage of the many recreational activities in the area with a competitive focus on skiing, tennis, and soccer. He went on to play tennis at the University of Idaho where he studied Corporate Recreation. Jamie was selected to participate as a coach and athletic scout in Yugoslavia shortly after leaving college. When he returned to the Valley, he took a position with the City of Ketchum as the Recreation Supervisor, where he worked to develop and manage youth and adult athletic programs. During this time, he coached Idaho Junior Team Tennis, leading them to regionals. He has over 25 years of experience coaching and instructing tennis with both juniors and adults. He specializes in skills development to help individuals achieve their goals. Jamie is currently the assistant coach for the Wood River High School tennis team and has always had a passion for the active lifestyle.
Kyle is passionate about movement and athletic development and enjoys helping clients achieve long term, sustainable health and fitness. He is a graduate of the Army/Baylor Doctorate Program and was an on active duty for 7 years. This time included serving as the physical therapist for a brigade combat team while deployed to Iraq. After his time in the Army, Kyle completed a sports medicine fellowship in the management of Division I athletes at Duke University. Here, he worked extensively with Duke Athletics in a multidisciplinary setting helping athletes from all their teams recover from, manage and prevent injury.
After leaving Duke, Kyle and his family moved to Eagle, ID and Kyle has been the Sports Medicine Program Coordinator, Residency Director, and clinic manager for St. Luke’s Health System in Boise.
Kyle has helped many athletes achieve their fitness and performance goals. This includes being Kristin Armstrong’s PT and strength coach for the 14 months leading up to the 2016 Rio Olympics where she won her 3rd gold medal in the women’s cycling time trial.
Lindsey Ketterling graduated from the University of Montana with BS in Health and Human Performance with emphasis in Exercise Science in 2012, and with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. She worked in a private practice outpatient clinic in Twin Falls before joining Zenergy in 2018.
Lindsey brings to the Zenergy Sports Rehab team additional training in vestibular and concussion rehab, and the Fascial Distortion Model (manual therapy techniques). She has experience with orthopedics and sports medicine from acute injuries, post operative conditions, and chronic or repetitive use conditions.
Lindsey is excited for the opportunity to help people restore function, movement, and return to an active lifestyle!
Karoline has been skiing and biking in Ketchum since childhood and has been a physical therapist in the Wood River Valley since 1999. She has focused on sports medicine and orthopedics since studying Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Utah. Karoline earned her Master’s degree at Idaho State University in 1999 and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. As a lifelong competitor, Karoline was an NCAA Division I alpine ski racer and was on the team that won the 2008 24-Hour Team Mountain Bike National Championships. Karoline also stays fit to keep up with her twin boys. At Zenergy Sports Rehab Clinic, Karoline focuses on helping patients recover from injuries and operations with the goal of becoming better than they were before.
Colleen graduated with a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia. She has been a physical therapist in Sun Valley for 35 years and loves her profession, as it has given her a wonderful avenue to interact with so many people in the area. Colleen continues to learn on a daily basis and feels fortunate to live in such a healthy and healing environment. She welcomes the opportunity to work with you toward improving your health and fitness.
Bianca is a certified yoga therapist/instructor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and the founder of Be Integrative Wellness, an integrative health and wellness healing practice that integrates physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual healing the whole person. She has taught in hospitals, wellness centers, corporate workplaces, schools, and yoga studios and to her own private clientele since 2009.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science majoring in Allied Health in Executive Healthcare Leadership and Health Promotion, a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Fine Arts, certifications as a Hatha Yoga Instructor and Shambala Reiki Master, Bianca began to empower wholeness at the individual, social, and worldly levels deepening the awareness and impact of her students and clients.
In 2018, Bianca was accepted to the California Institute of Integral Studies for the Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology for Community Mental Health and is on her way to becoming a licensed in the states of California and Idaho as a clinical trauma therapist. Bianca’s healing practice, classes, workshops and speaking events are intended to serve as a diverse blend of inspiration to engage people of all levels of ability.
Bianca is a San Diego native that has recently relocated and now calls the mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho home.
In college, Zoe worked in the Adaptive Physical Education Program as an Assistant Physical Therapist. Designing and guiding workouts for students of all ages rehabilitating after injuries and surgeries. She branched out and interned in the Santa Rosa Sports Medicine Department for 2 years with resident Olympic Athletic Trainer Byron Craighead. Training alongside him and his field team providing first aid and training room support keeping college athletes in top form for their sports. This involvement led to her accreditation as an Emergency Medical Technician. Working on an Ambulance at the San Francisco International Airport. Interning with local Fire Departments, while volunteering with the Urban Search and Rescue. Invested in Pilates since 2007, she continues her education with workshops and independent studies. Certified with Pilates Integrated Teacher Training in San Francisco, California.
Susan’s credentials include: B.S. from Wayne State University, certified in Stott Pilates 2002, NSCA Personal Trainer, Posture and Alignment specialist, and Certified in Stretch to Win – assisted fascial stretch technique. My work is motivated by my passionate desire to teach people to heal their bodies, eliminate pain, and regain their flexibility and strength. Julie has been a Pilates devotee since 2003 after many years of active participation in Bikram Yoga. She received her M.A.T. Teacher Certification at Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle where she trained under Dorothee VandeWalle, a master Pilates teacher and widely recognized as one of the world’s leading teacher-trainers. Julie enjoys working with a wide variety of clients who appreciate the benefits of enhanced core strength to improve flexibility, balance, and overall fitness.
Deborah has been certified in Authentic Romana’s Pilates since 2002. She believes that Pilates is for all walks of life and that everyone can benefit: from the injured to the inflexible or the uncoordinated to the very athletic. Deborah has seen Pilates play an integral part in her own life and loves sharing the many advantages with her clients.
Kim Howard graduated Magna cum Laude with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Washington, and also holds a Masters Degree in School Guidance from the University of Southern Mississippi. Once through her schooling, she became a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at the Bellevue Athletic Club. Kim was also the staff kinesiologist, instructor trainer, and class instructor for Golden Aerobics, with a staff of over 100 teachers in Washington and Oregon. At age 27, Kim opened her own, very successful aerobic studio, Parkplace Workout, in Kirkland, Washington.
Kim also taught elementary physical education at St. Edward’s School in Vero Beach, Florida for 10 years and helped to raise the number of Presidential Physical Fitness award winners from 2 to 34, and the National Physical Fitness award winners from 20% to 80% of the school.
After St. Edwards, Kim returned to working with adults in Vero Beach, FL, as the Fitness Director at the Jungle Club as well being the Manager of the John’s Island Fitness Club and Spa.
Over her years in Sun Valley, Kim has taught fitness classes and been a personal trainer at Zenergy. She is thrilled to be back working in personal training. In her spare time, Kim loves to hike, bike, and skate ski with her husband Troy, AND spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Eric is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp Trainer, Certified Kettlebell Instructor, and an AIS Therapist. Eric is truly excited to focus his passion on enriching lives though health and fitness. Eric served eight years in the US Marine Corps, receiving high honors in fitness and leadership.

Cory’s holistic approach stems from his varied background in general fitness, nutrition, recovery strategies, and overall mental performance. With over a decade of world-class instruction from the industry’s top professionals, Cory is a recognized authority on Performance Health and Longevity.
Carly Belle (ACPT, CNS, CES, 200YT) has been in the wellness industry since 1999. She has been a nationally recognized coach, personal trainer, teacher, seminar host, conference speaker, and leader in her field. She has extensive education and experience with corrective exercise, fitness programming, and nutritional medicine. Her unique methods of total body wellness have changed the lives of hundreds. Today, Carly specializes in corrective exercise for improved mobility, nutrition, and small group training focusing on TRX and kettlebells.
Anthony is a 22-year veteran of the fitness industry. As a personal trainer, nutrition expert, author and lecturer, his passion for wellness has led him all over the country. Anthony’s philosophy is based on the fact that education is the foundation for success.
Kathy has lived in the Wood River Valley for over 35 years. After stints as a florist and a realtor, she found her true calling as a nail technician and has been providing top-notch manicures and pedicures for 23 years. She loves working as part of the Zenergy team. In her free time, Kathy enjoys hiking and cross-country skiing.
Originally from Thailand, Taweesin moved to Sun Valley in 2008. Certified by the Thai Traditional Medicine Institute and formerly of Mandara Spa, Thailand. Ton practices Thai, Aromatic, and Deep Tissue massage and enjoys skiing, biking, and soccer.
At the end of a commercial fishing season in Alaska, feeling tired and sore, Jan received her first massage. It was then that she knew exactly what she wanted to do. She completed the Certified Massage Therapy program at the Heartwood Institute. She has been practicing massage for 20 years. Her expertise is deep tissue massage, a focused technique used to help with chronic pain and injury rehabilitation. In 2006 Jan became a practitioner of Structural Integration, a series that strives to balance and align the body through lengthening and releasing the fascia.
Annelies holds her L.Ac. in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and is also a massage practitioner. She offers treatment for all types of injuries and aliments. Her focus has been on sports injury rehabilitation, pain, stress, sleep issues, and pre- and post-care for knee and hip replacements. Her 12 years as an acupuncturist and 15 years as a massage therapist, combined with over 3,200 hours of training in Chinese Medicine, give her a deep understanding of the human body. Annelies is a mom, wife, and avid athlete. Her interests span from trail running, mountain biking, and skiing to yoga. Annelies has a deep love for the outdoors and she believes this gives her the understanding to help people get back to living the lives they want to live.
East meets West with Joseph’s signature blend of traditional Thai medical massage, structural integration, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. In Eastern medicine the opening of Qi, the body’s life force, is considered fundamental in healing physical ailments. Blocked Qi manifests as muscle or soft tissue tension or restriction. Through intentional work with various stretches, palpitations and accessing specific acupressure points, Joseph will assist your body in opening to return to an optimal state. He will often conclude sessions with Reiki, Yoga Nidra or a guided meditation.

Born and raised in the Czech republic, Ivana (1988 Olympian in cross-country skiing) has skied for the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. In 2000 she finished her massage and body work studies at the College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City and has practiced mostly with private clientele ever since. Mom of two boys, she enjoys skiing, hiking, running, golf, yoga and the great wide open in general.
Trained in several modalities, she is sure to deliver satisfying, personalized bodywork and always leaves a piece of her heart with the client.
Born in Michigan, Diane first came to the area in 1998, living and working at Galena Lodge. She fell in love with Nordic Skiing and the mountain lifestyle and never left. Diane graduated from the Idaho School of massage in 2003. Her initial training included Swedish massage, reflexology, sports massage and clinical deep tissue. Diane loves continuing education and is always adding to her repertoire of massage techniques which now include neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, active isolated stretching and strengthening, and Thai massage. Most recently Diane has become an Ace Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is also a certified TRX trainer and loves the TRX as a personal training tool.
Before graduating from Myotherapy College of Utah in 2003, Amy studied Aikido, Qi Gong, Thai Chi & Peruvian energy medicine among other structural modalities. The energetic awareness she connects to contribute to her intuitive facilitation of a client’s rebalancing. Amy has called various places on North American soil “Home”. And, after coming to the area summer of 2012, Amy certainly feels blessed to have this valley added to the list.
Amber Morgan was born and raised here in beautiful Ketchum Idaho. After graduating from Wood River High School, she moved to California. Amber completed school in Santa Cruz before moving to Laguna Beach. She attended the International School of Bodywork and fell in love with the practice. In 1994 Amber finished the 1000-hour program and began her practice. She has worked in a variety of spas throughout California and received training in different body treatments such as Hot Stone massage, pregnancy and infant massage, body wraps, scrubs, and hydrotherapy treatments. Throughout her schooling, she focused on different techniques such as, deep tissue massage, sports, circulatory, and Swedish massage. Amber is also a licensed esthetician. Combining all the different modalities she has learned over the years, Amber’s technique will help your body relieve stress, reduce muscle tension and give you an overall feeling of relaxation and balance. Being raised in this community, Amber loves all the outdoor activities this valley is blessed with. When she is not working in the spa, she is playing on the trails or skiing on the slopes! Sharon studied Swedish and Sports Massage at the acclaimed San Francisco School of Massage. Her experience as a national-caliber competitive runner and cyclist for over 20 years brings familiarity with the stress and tension that can build up in every athlete’s body. Sharon’s clients include world and national champions from a variety of sports. In addition to promoting relaxation, the focus of her work is the reduction of muscle tension, injury prevention, increased range of motion, and pain relief. Sharon does not impose a “one size fits all” philosophy and is dedicated to supporting her clients in meeting their goals for each session. She is passionate about the beneficial effects that massage therapy has on both the body and mind.
Originally from Minnesota, this misplaced mountain girl moved west after earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Steven’s Point. Kathy spent time in southwest Washington where she attended Ashmead College for massage before finally settling in Sun Valley. Drawn by the active lifestyle, Kathy enjoys many types of recreation including paragliding and volleyball. Her education, combined with a lifelong enjoyment of sports and recreation, gives her an extensive knowledge of how the human body works and how to meet the needs of our local clientele. Kathy practices Swedish, therapeutic deep tissue, sports, pregnancy, and hot stone massage.
Barbara’s inspiration for her massage career began when, as a paralegal, she discovered her “compassion button” with personal injury clients. Having a strong desire to help people in pain, she completed the massage therapist program at the Monterey Institute of Touch in 1995. She combines a blend of Esalen style strokes with deep effective trigger point work. Her continuing education has focused on neuromuscular therapy, range of motion stretching, Lomi Lomi and myoskeletal techniques.
Barbara provides a safe comfortable rapport with a wide variety of clients such as serious athletes, moms, “computer people” and active seniors. She has experience addressing challenges such as migraines, joint dysfunction, polio, and Parkinson’s disease. Barbara brings to the table a depth of understanding from her own life experience with past health challenges as well. No session is the same as she is curious and intuitive with each person.
A Massachusetts native, Kristy has honed her practice of massage over two decades. She is known throughout The Valley, and by frequent visitors, for her experience in numerous fields of massage therapy. Many athletes and massage devotees come to her to experience Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage in which she uses ceiling bars and gravitational assistance to work deep within the tissues. Others come for Deep-tissue Myofascial Release, Active Isolated Stretching or a relaxing Hot Stone Massage. A graduate of Sante Fe School of Massage, Kristy also counts among her expert techniques Chinese Cupping Therapy to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions, and lift connective tissue to drain excess fluids and toxins in the body by opening lymphatic pathways. Kristy’s Cupping Massage is an ideal treatment for soft tissue injuries and for body toning. When not working, Kristy spends her free time enjoying all the magnificence of The Wood River Valley–skiing, trail-running, working out, swimming, hiking, camping, drinking good wine and enjoying the love of her husband, Brad, and their two dogs.

She specializes in calming the nervous system and releasing negative energy. She has a passion for health and well-being for others and herself. River has always had a fascination with the human condition and how it plays out in the physical form. The mind/body connection has been a driving force for her in understanding what defines how someone moves and feels about him or herself. She has a curiosity about what limits the ability for movement. River is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her clients.
Heather grew up in Idaho. Her love for the natural world was shaped at an early age and fostered by a long career of guiding throughout Idaho. She has an adventurous nature that has led to some extensive traveling throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
Heather is passionate about holistic healing and all the arts that support it. Being a volunteer EMT incited a curiosity for the body, it’s form and function; she attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy. She chose UCMT in part for their connection with the University of Utah Anatomy & Physiology Lab and the professor’s choice to use the same curriculum as the U of U pre-med program. She studied Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology, Movement & Structural, Sports Massage, Russian Sports Massage, Trigger Point Theory, and Swedish. She enjoys practicing a wide range of modalities.
When she is not at the table helping others to feel their best, she may be found enjoying Idaho’s healing waters or adventuring with her husband, Ryan, and their dog Odin.
Isabella has obtained extensive training and hands on experience over the past 30 years in the field of Natural Healing Arts. More specific to that training she has spent the past 20 plus years practicing Massage Therapy and Energy Medicine. She has received advanced certifications in eastern and western philosophies and techniques and holds a 3rd degree Master certification in Usi Reiki, as well as a Master Somatic Instructor certification. She has a deep passion for trauma and emotional release therapy which, as she explains, is the realignment of mind, body and spirit. Because of her dedication to wellness, her practice has taken her to national and international venues working in triage alongside forensic and trauma physicians. Adding to her practice she has co-treated with Naturopathic Physicians, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Acupuncturists, Physicians of OBGYN, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic and Plastic Surgeons. She has assisted in multiple child births including the birth of her two grandsons, and has provided luxury wellness therapies on private yachts in national and international venues.
Hannes is born and raised in Sun Valley, and enjoys the health and strong community feel that the area offers. After graduating from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Hannes worked for three years in Kitzbühel Austria. Hannes believes that a massage should never hurt, and he believes that a massage should be therapeutic both physically and mentally.
India is a certified indoor cycling Instructor with FiTour and teaches at the YMCA as well. Her true passion is cycling outdoors in the mountains around Ketchum. She is most known for the all-women’s mountain bike group that she created in 2007, Mud Honey Cycling. Mud Honey is a group of women who are not afraid to have wheel fun on bikes; racing, riding and encouraging one another! India’s spin classes focus on going hard and having fun. India is a USA Cycling Single Speed National Champion; She also enjoys skiing, trail running and general merrymaking.
By day Julie is a CPA. Her passion for fitness and indoor cycling leads her to the saddle as a spin instructor at Zenergy. When not crunching numbers, or researching protein powder, Julie enjoys spinning (of course), trail running and Nordic skiing.
Some of Amanda’s earliest memories were of early mornings, adjusting the rabbit ears with her dad and watching the Tour de France. Her love of cycling began then, although she never raced a bike until her 30’s. Once she did, she was hooked.
A relative newcomer to the valley, Amanda immediately fell in love with everything Zenergy had to offer; especially the potential that the spin classes held. A financial advisor by day, she loves numbers and data and understands the importance of training in zones.
When she isn’t spinning, you’ll find her fishing, horseback riding, skiing, and exploring Idaho with her incredible husband and family.
Alex Laws has found a balance between athletics and opening up your intuition. To date, running over 40 marathons and 15 Ironman tri-athalons Alex has made endurance athletics a way of life. Cycling races across the state of Oregon and from Oregon to Idaho he has developed training discoveries unique to him. “Riding 560 miles in 43 hours changed my understanding of what we as athletes can accompliosh.” Alex shares this with each spin class he teaches a level of inspiration and enthusiasm for the beginner to the accomplished athlete. A three time finisher of the Hawaii Ultra-man (6.2 mile ocean swim, 264 mile bike ride, and a 52.4 mile run), Alex brings his authenticity and passion to each class or private session he conducts.
JENNIFER HUBBARD, GERONTOLOGIST M.S.G., M.S.N.
Jennifer is our valley’s resident “brain trainer.” With her academic background in gerontology, neuroscience and longevity (two master’s degrees from USC) and her certifications as a Memory Care Coach and Brain Trainer (UCLA), she works one-on-one with Alzheimer and Parkinson’s clients and teaches Zenergy’s Parkinson’s classes. Jennifer is also certified in Pilates, Spinning, Movement Therapy and Hydrofit, so you will indeed see her name as an instructor for a variety of Zenergy classes.
Ashley is a certified indoor cycling instructor from Spinning. As most Sun Valley natives, her passions include anything fitness whether it be hitting the trails or the treadmill, as long as she’s moving she’s happy. Ashley has worked in the fitness industry for the past 5 years, and looks forward to many more. Her motto is: “Keep your head high, your glutes tight, and your coffee strong.”
Erin, a Physical Therapist, joined Sun Valley Sports Rehabilitation at Zenergy in 2010. Prior, she worked for the world-renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There she gained expertise in evidence-based treatments for both pediatric and adult patients with extensive orthopedic and neurological impairments. Erin received a grant from National Parkinson Foundation and is committed to implementing the most innovative strategies to improve the lives of those with Parkinson’s disease. She is an athlete who has earned USA Triathlon All-American honors and competed in the Ironman World Championships. Erin is compelled to help athletes of all abilities prevent and recover from injury, embrace an active lifestyle and accomplish their sport-specific goals.
Beth has recently joined the Zenergy indoor cycling team. Beth holds a license in clinical social work, works as a school social worker for the Blaine County School District, and has a private therapy practice.
Teaching spin is a great addition to Beth’s commitment to service for our community. With a strong sense of rhythm and musicality, Beth mixes a variety of music genres to inspire, motivate, and create an atmosphere for all levels of athleticism.
Greg is passionate about hairdressing and believes that he has the greatest job in the world because he gets the opportunity to make people feel good about themselves both inside and out–and he has fun while doing it. Greg has over 30 years of experience and formal training that includes traveling the world as a member of AlfaParf’s design team and learning some of the most cutting edge techniques from Milan, Italy. His formal training started with Vidal Sassoon’s cutting foundation and his major influences are AlfaParf, Vidal Sassoon, Rusk, and Toni & Guy. Greg is also a veteran platform artist and educator and has worked some of the most prestigious hair shows in the United States and abroad.
Kelsey Brennan is a Sun Valley local who left in 2011 to pursue a college degree and various career opportunities. She has completed a BS in Kinesiology, a BA in Interdisciplinary Dance Studies, and a Masters in Business Administration. Her degrees sparked Kelsey’s love for the human body and all that it is capable of, which is why she decided to pursue a career in massage therapy and personal training. With her personal training clients, Kelsey found that many people needed to incorporate a mindfulness component to their daily lifestyle routine, and that is when she found her love for yoga. Kelsey has been teaching group exercise classes, including barre, TRX, spin, aerial yoga, and yoga, for the last three years and loves every minute of it! She brings fire and knowledge to her classes which keeps her clients coming back because of the awesome workout and immediate connection to the community of her classes. Kelsey strives to encourage her clients to find a type of exercise that they enjoy so that it is a part of their day that they look forward to. Charlie Schubert recently moved to the Wood River Valley with his fiancé, Kelsey Brennan, and his son, Dylan. Charlie has been an athlete his entire life, running track and playing football in high school and continuing his football career into college. After university, he left the east coast to travel out west to Crested Butte, Colorado, where he found his love for snowboarding and the mountain town lifestyle. Charlie has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education and a Minor in Health. His personal training certification is through the National Council of Strength and Fitness, and he also has certifications for TRX, Kettlebell, and indoor cycling. Charlie has been training for over 13 years with experience working with people of all ages, fitness levels, and goals. He currently loves to work with young athletes to gain speed and agility and people who want to use fitness to improve their day to day lives. Charlie believes that personal training should be about lifestyle choices so your exercise routine is incorporated into an overall wellness regimen.
Priscilla grew up in NYC where her love for dance began at age 8 when she was accepted into the American School of Ballet and danced with the New York City ballet in many performances at Lincoln Center. At the ripe age of 12 she hung up the toe shoes. After years of tearing up wedding dance floors Priscilla found a more regular expression of her passion in the booty shaking moves of Zumba. Priscilla’s approach to teaching is that everyone has a hidden dancer in them and it’s her goal to release them all with a pumping beat and a huge smile.
Personal Trainer Zack Taylor is an ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer who also has his B.S. in Exercise Science from Boise State University. Through his years of schooling, Zack gained experience in group fitness instruction, bodybuilding contest preparation for both men and women, as well as a bio-mechanical perspective on fitness that carries over into his personal training sessions.
In addition to personal training, Zack is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist for Zenergy Sports Rehab Clinic. He assists the Physical Therapists with gym related programs when a patient has progressed to a point where they need more resistance training.
Zack is also one of our tennis instructors. He played tennis at the collegiate level, participated in Men’s 4.5 level city league tennis and was the assistant coach for Bishop Kelly High school, 2014, and Wood River High School, 2017.
Yvette has managed fitness programs and facilities in Boise and Sun Valley since 1990.
Yvette is currently an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, RYS 200 Certified Instructor and StagesFlight Cycling Certified Instructor with a Kinesiology/Health Promotion degree from Boise State University. Since 1984, she has taught everything from ski conditioning to gentle yoga. Yvette’s enthusiasm and knack for teaching proper motor development and technical movement has made her a highly regarded instructor in the industry.
Yvette is the 2008 NGA Northwest Natural Masters Figure Champion and has trained several medalists in the field. As a competitive cheerleader, gymnast and track athlete, she ‘amped’ up her interest in running and has teamed up with a group of friends to win the Masters Division of the Sawtooth Relays seven times.
If she isn’t cheering you on in the PIVOT, Fitness, Cycling or Yoga studio, you’ll find her hiking and camping with husband, Dave, and her crazy dogs. Her motto is “Life is short – make it fun!”
Originally from Australia, Noa has lived around the world including Singapore, Israel and Los Angeles before setttling in Ketchum with her family 2.5 years ago.
Founder and former CEO of Vie Active, as well as the founder of Ozfit (Singapore’s largest outdoor Bootcamp), Noa is a certified Personal Trainer specializing in women’s fitness. She loves ensuring her workouts give you maximum bang for your time and prefers high intensity interval training for that reason. Her workouts are short, effective and most of all fun.
Emily is a Personal Trainer, Pilates and Group Fitness Instructor. Her certifications include A.C.E Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor, Authentic Pilates Instructor, and Les Mills Certified Instructor. She has been working in the industry since 1998. Emily enjoys working with people who are overweight and having a tough time getting motivated – that is her specialty, and she loves to share the secrets she’s learned over the years to attaining a fit and healthy body.
Casey has been a Valley resident for eleven years and works as Director of Gilman Contemporary. When she isn’t hitting the slopes or the mountain bike trails, she spends her time pursuing her career as a fly girl. She brings her spark and energy to the dance floor teaching ZUMBA at Zenergy.

When Anna’s not bouncing off the walls at the gym, she enjoys time with her family skiing, hiking, biking and paddle boarding.
Born in Sun Valley, Peter Burke returned to his magical roots in May of 2013. A graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Burke studied musical theater, classical theater, experimental theater and dance in both New York and Amsterdam. He has appeared in several Off-Broadway productions including Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and John Patrick Shanley’s Fire Burning Rain. Burke’s film and TV credits include Blood and Love, HBO’s Mildred Pierce, Terry Richardson’s Last Hours (65th Annual Cannes Film Festival), Hellaware (BAM Film Festival), See You Next Tuesday, Alicia Key’s music video New Day and Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Burke is Ballet Barre instructor for Zenergy Thunder Springs and a founding member of The Spot where he serves as Director of Education as well as core company artist.
Cristalle is a licensed Esthetician and has over eight years of experience in the skin care industry. She completed her studies at Headmaster’s School of Hair Design in Boise, ID. After receiving her license in May 2009, she returned to Ketchum where she was born and raised to fulfill her career as an Esthetician. In the last eight years of her career she has gained extensive experience with a variety of skin care products, facials, full-body waxing, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. Cristalle is passionate about skincare and dedicated to helping her clients maintain healthy and radiant skin in our dry, high-altitude environment. Here at Zenergy she offers microdermabrasion, chemical peels, custom facial treatments, brow/lash tint, and spray tanning. When she is not in the spa you will find her on the slopes in the winter, trails in the summer, and in the pool and gym here at Zenergy. She looks forward to meeting you and taking care of all your skin care needs.
Kathleen moved from Kirkland Washington where she owned European Skin Care for 18 years. Kathleen is a National Board Certified Reflexologist and Licensed Master Esthetician. She also holds an international diploma – CIDESCO. She enjoys all the Valley’s outdoor activities as well as she is a competitive rower. Kathleen is a National Ski Patroller/EMT and volunteers for Galena Backcountry Ski Patrol. She is available for Reflexology, facials, waxing, and tinting services.
Brittney Aldrich is a licensed Esthetician with over 6+ years of experience. She is very passionate about what she does and takes the time with her clients. She enjoys customizing her facials and incorporating the use of massage in her treatments. She has continued her education in reiki healing. Her natural healing abilities are being intuitive and emphatic, which is helpful in tuning into the body.
Missy has a degree in Early Childhood & Elementary education and a minor in Art. She was an elementary school teacher in Oregon before moving to the valley. She is currently a substitute teacher and swim instructor, with a focus on younger children.
Suzanne is a registered nurse, ACE Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Schwinn Certified Instructor, and an I.D.E.A. member. Suzanne has taught group fitness since 1979. Suzanne was a member of the winning Danskin Triathlon team “Carpe Mammae. *” Her therapeutic teaching approach is an artistic blend of her nursing degree, her career in the fitness industry, her experience as an oncology patient, and years as a competitive athlete. Suzanne enjoys skate skiing, alpine skiing, hiking, swimming, and offering volunteer time to Expedition Inspiration as well as the SVSS Music Conservatory. *This team was composed of breast cancer survivors. The literal translation of the team name is “Seize the Breast.”
A Sun Valley resident since 1985, Ed Flory has been involved in swimming as a competitor and coach for more than four decades. Ed was a nationally renowned swimmer at Kutztown University, a NCAA Division II National Champion and 15-time Coaches All-American. He trained with USA Swimming for the World Games in Berlin and the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow (which the United States ended up boycotting). In 2002, Ed earned a master’s degree in natural health from Clayton College. He launched the Zenergy Masters Swim Program in 2001.
A competitive swimmer from Santa Barbara, California, in her youth, Margie Caldwell-Cooper, B.A. Ed., Aquatic Exercise Association Global Fitness Professional of the Year 2006, loves learning as much as teaching all levels of exercise participants and instructors on land and in the water. Now certified by ACE (gold), AEA, AFAA and Yoga Alliance, she has grown with the fitness industry, moving from group classes taught in leg warmers to the current focus on core fitness, balance, and fusion workouts.
Maria was a competitive swimmer and diver from Connecticut. She holds a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Connecticut State University. A swim instructor since college, Maria has been coaching the local swim team since 2009. Maria encourages hard work and improvement along with a strong emphasis on learning technique and having fun.
Lisa Lintner is a Body Ecologist using applied nutrition to cleanse and reactivate the microbiome, central to our immunity and energy production. Her acupuncture utilizes AcuGraph diagnostics to guide your treatments utilizing pins, non-needle microcurrent, herbal medicines and nutritional supplements. These modalities are very effective to relieve pain, resolve chronic and acute injuries and to rehab quickly from surgery. They are also very effective in the treatment of more internal conditions such as headaches, stress, anxiety, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, addictions and infections. Lisa has spent 30 years in practice – 24 in Sun Valley.
Lisa grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA and frequently visited Sun Valley during holiday breaks. After receiving her degree in Recreation Management/Hotel Management from Chico State University in 2002, she came to the Valley for what she thought would be short term, but as the story goes….she stayed! Playing softball at the collegiate level, and being a part of a team in general is where Lisa feels most integrated. Having an extensive customer service background, she is a valued contributor to the Zenergy accounting team. Lisa enjoys skiing, co-ed softball, hiking and biking.
Boutique & Café Manager
Haily was born and raised in Issaquah, WA later attending Washington State University obtaining her BS in Geology. Having visited Ketchum frequently in her youth she decided to move to the area post-graduation. Haily started at Zenergy in 2011 working the front desk and juice bar, later using her affinity and love for clothes to move to the boutique. Haily brings a young, fresh style to the boutique due to her ability to keep up with new fashion and her bubbly personality. The Zenergy boutique has thrived since Haily took the reins in 2013. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, tennis and walking dogs at the local animal shelter.
Rob started playing tennis at the age of five. Throughout his junior years, Rob competed in Intermountain Division tennis tournaments, achieving great success. Rob started his career in tennis at Sun Valley Company at the age of 15, becoming their youngest full-time summer tennis instructor. He has been teaching professionally ever since. During his teaching experience Rob has co-instructed clinics and played in multiple exhibition matches with tennis professionals including Mats Wilander, Tom Gorman, Fred Stolle, and Tracy Austin. The experiences he has had with these professionals, as well as with other great tennis mentors, have greatly influenced his career and teaching style. Rob enjoys skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, alpine touring, mountain biking, hiking, golf, tennis, and rock climbing.
Raised in Idaho, Maria has lived in the Sun Valley area for 8 years now, and is proudly raising two young children with her partner. A regular face around the club after three years at Zenergy, her eleven years of customer service experience qualifies her to work as a member and guest liaison during her shifts as a customer experience manager covering weekends and weekdays. Maria thrives on personal interactions and her relationship to the club’s members. Maria has recently completed her course in becoming a Body Pump instructor and is excited to continue her own fitness journey while helping others on theirs!
Mollie was born and raised in Ketchum and returned to the valley in 2003 after receiving a degree from Bates College in Studio Art. She started working at Zenergy in 2008 with the intention of enjoying “one last year” as a ski bum before heading back to school and never left. She has been the Spa Director since 2009. In her free time, she enjoys training for triathlons, cooking, and working in her garden.

Angela has over 20 years of human resource experience in small to large organizations providing management, guidance and leadership to all employees. Her broader experience includes sales, customer service, employee relations, payroll, talent acquisition and management in various industries.
