Fall Back into Fitness: 5 Ways

Ahhhh…summer! We’re sad to see you go but happy to return to a routine. With the kids back in school, we can get to the gym and tend to our neglected bodies. We can set goals and focus on getting in shape.

Fall is a time of change, and the perfect opportunity to turn over a new leaf and create healthy new habits before the holidays and winter months.

Here are 5 ways to embrace the change and make it your fittest fall ever:

GO TO BED EARLIER
Adequate sleep is a key part of a healthy lifestyle, and can benefit your energy and stamina, metabolism, appetite, mood, immune system, and more. So now that the days are shorter, get to bed earlier! Turn off all electronic devices an hour before bedtime, and aim for at least 7 to 8 hours of shuteye a night.

EXERCISE IN THE A.M.
Get your workout done in the morning so you don’t risk missing it! We all know how life can get in the way. You’ll start your day feeling strong, focused and productive. Not a morning person? Grab coffee and give it a shot for a month—we promise, you’ll get used to it.
