Announcing Zenergy’s Plans to Re-Open on Monday, May 18th.

Dear Members, Staff and Friends,

After almost seven weeks of separation from our Zenergy community, and in anticipation of satisfying all guidelines as set out by the State of Idaho, I am thrilled to announce that we anticipate reopening on Monday, May 18th with normal club hours.

When our doors open, there will be numerous operational and facility changes in place to safeguard the health of Zenergy members and staff alike. Most of these new measures are designed to limit the number of people sharing communal space, and to control congestion throughout the Club.

CHANGES IN EFFECT UPON REOPENING

Gym: We have modified the gym layout to provide for wider walkways and a more open spacious feel. New gym usage guidelines will apply and will be conspicuously posted at the Club.

  • Cardio Machines: To ensure we have the proper six feet of space between cardio users, only every other cardio machine will be operational; this means 17 individuals can do cardio at one time.
  • Weights & Other: Using a formula based on social distance recommendations and the square footage of the weight training and other gym areas, we will allow for up to 30 people at a time outside of the cardio areas of the gym (including the Pivot studio). This will be closely monitored and adjusted as needed. Members can reserve a space for cardio or weights/other via online sign-ups, or will be asked to sign in for a time-slot at the front desk. Signing up prior to arrival will not be required, so feel free to come to the club as normal if you choose; if we are already at our maximum capacity, which we think will be very rare, you will have to wait until a space opens up or you can alter your desired starting routine.

Personal Training & Pilates: During the first two weeks, there will be no personal training sessions in the gym, group sessions in Pivot, or Pilates sessions of any sort.

Group Classes: We are fine-tuning an opening class schedule for the Yoga and Group Fitness studios, with a dispersed schedule and reduced class occupancy in accordance with regulations. Sign-ups will be required.

Cycling Classes: Daily cycling classes will be held on the outdoor pool deck. The cycling studio will be open for individual member use with a limited number of bikes in operation.

Tennis: The tennis courts will be available for member play, with staggered start times. Private lessons can be reserved. Members are encouraged to bring their own balls, or purchase balls at the front desk or the tennis pro shop.

Aquatics:

  • General: The pools will be opened and limited to one swimmer per lane line. Lane reservation in advance is highly recommended.
  • Masters Swimmers: Coach Ed will post daily workouts and will be coaching at scheduled times.
  • HydroFit: HydroFit classes will resume, spacing class attendees throughout the entire pool.
  • Jacuzzi: The jacuzzi will reopen with a max capacity of six individuals.
  • Anyone using the pools or jacuzzi must rinse off at the indoor pool deck shower, as the main locker room showers will remain closed until it is safe to reopen them.

Zenergy Spa: Greg Hinshaw’s hair studio and the Zenergy nail salon will open on the 18th, by appointment only. All other spa offerings are available for booking starting June 1.

Locker Rooms: The locker rooms will be open to use the bathroom, or to change after pool or jacuzzi usage. The showers, saunas and steam rooms will remain closed until it is safe to reopen them.

Zenergy Boutique: The Boutique will open with the Club on the 18th.

Sports Rehab: The Zenergy Sports Rehabilitation Clinic will reopen on Monday, May 4th with new patient and therapist protocols adopted to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

  • Clinic schedule has been reduced to allow more time between appointments.
  • All therapists and staff will wear masks during treatment and all surfaces will be disinfected with a virucide before and after each patient.
  • To schedule either an in-person or telehealth virtual appointment, please click here.

Guests Policy: For the time being, all guests must be either: immediate family or ongoing household members, or, house guests who have been in the area and have self-quarantined for at least two weeks.

NEW SAFETY FEATURES AND PROTOCOLS

Zenergy has also used this closure time to complete numerous facility upgrades to make it as safe as possible for your return. These improvements and our enhanced safety protocols include:

  • State-of-the-art air filtration and purification system from Clean Science Solutions. Through advanced oxidation technology (AOT), this system effectively reduces bacteria, viruses, mold, VOCs, and odors within indoor environments. It generates low and safe levels of hydro-peroxide to actively cleanse the air and reduce airborne contaminants.
  • Zenergy will also undergo regular intense disinfecting with Halo Fogger, a process that uses a proprietary hydrogen peroxide disinfectant formula proven to kill 99.9999% of C. difficile spores, along with a broad range of other pathogens.
  • All high-touch areas, from the front door, to all door knobs to gym equipment and accessories, have been treated with Penetrexx Antimicrobial, creating a protective shield that continually fights microbial contamination and effectively reduces the risk of cross contamination.
  • After significant research, we have also introduced new safe and effective disinfectants for continual use by all staff members.
  • All sinks throughout the club now have beautiful new touchless faucets and soap dispensers.
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the club.
  • New one-way traffic patterns are in place wherever possible.
  • Zenergy staff members will wear masks at all times while in common areas.
  • Zenergy staff members will have daily temperature checks.
  • In consideration of other members, you are strongly encouraged to wear a mask or other facial covering until you reach your desired location in the club. Once actively engaged in weights, cardio, or a class, face coverings are optional.

We are confident that we are taking the necessary measures to ensure that Zenergy is as safe as possible upon your return. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly. As noted in our last email, we will not be charging membership dues for the month of May.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and support – we will all be able to enjoy a revitalized Zenergy soon!

See you in a few weeks,
